The flight speed record for a 2,000-kilometer closed route with a load of 155 tons is 815.09 km/h, and the flight height record with this load is 12,430 m.

On August 11, 2009, An-225 also delivered from Frankfurt (Germany) to Yerevan (Armenia) the heaviest single cargo in the history of aviation – a generator, which was transported together with a special frame. The total weight of the cargo was 187.6 tons. This transportation was another great achievement and entered the Guinness Book of Records.

September 11, 2001 the winged giant took to the sky for a flight along the Kyiv-Black Sea-Kyiv route and lifted commercial cargo weighing 253,820 tons to a height of 2,000 meters.
